Welcome
Guildford Anglican Church (St Mary's Anglican Church, Guildford) is a warm, welcoming church in Sydney's west.  We believe there is nothing more important than knowing God, which is only possible through the saving work of Jesus.  We believe there is nothing better that you can do on a Sunday than meet with God's people around God's Word - that's because we believe the Bible tells us all we need to know about God, about life, about ourselves and how we should live.  Our church is full of "real" people; people of all sorts of backgrounds, nationalities and ages, all sharing in each other's lives, growing together through the ups and downs, and unified under Christ Jesus.  We would love you to join us!

"Growing God's Kingdom" is our mission - we encourage each other to grow in our love and knowledge of God; and we take seriously God's call to share the good news of Jesus to people from all nations so that they too can know and follow the true King.

Sunday Services

Guildford Anglican Church has three Church Services each Sunday.  You can listen to recordings of sermons at Sermons Online.

8.00am Traditional

This service is for those who enjoy a more traditional Anglican Prayer Book service.  Hymns are sung with the organ, and Holy Communion is held on the first and third Sundays of every month.  Morning tea follows the service each week in the annexe adjacent to the church.

10.00am Family

This service particularly caters for families, however all people are welcome.  Children’s programs operate during the service for children of all ages.  These include Kids of the Kingdom, JAM and Code Blue.  There is a crying room located at the back of the church for unsettled babies.  This service is relaxed, informal and family-friendly.  Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of every month.  Morning tea is served after the service in the hall next to the church.

6.00pm Youth

This service is very casual and relaxed and particularly caters for youth and the young at heart!  The service starts with singing, followed by games and activities that link in with the  Bible talk.  After a short Bible talk, everyone divides up into small groups to discuss practical application and how the Bible passage relates to our lives.  Dinner is served after the service in the hall next to the church.
